Picture Day and Freshmen Chromebook Pickup

Wednesday, Aug. 13th

Picture Day:
- Come to the school cafeteria on Wednesday, Aug. 13th, to get your picture taken for the school year. This picture will be your school ID card picture as well as your yearbook picture.
- Come anytime between 8 AM and 2 PM

Chromebook Pickup:
- All Freshmen will be issued a school chromebook. Please pick up your chromebook from Brighton’s library between 8 AM to 2 PM on Wed., 8/13.
- You will need your student ID number (found on Skyward) or your newly printed ID card to check out your device.

Orientation: Welcome to Brighton High School! To kick off the year, we are inviting all Freshmen to Freshmen Academy. We are looking forward to meeting you!
Details:
- Where: Brighton High Auditorium
- When: Friday, August 15th from 9 Am – 11:35 AM
- Why: meet classmates, teachers, administration, counselors, navigate the school and your class schedule
Bonus: A hot dog lunch will be searched and a free t-shirt will be given to each student in attendance

Transportation Option:

If you live more than a mile away and would like to ride the bus to orientation — buses will be running the regular routes to pick up students for orientation. You can find bus schedules for 8/15/25 in the attachment to the Student Square or Parent Square post (this will open a new webpage).
