Elections for next year’s Student Government will be coming up later this month. Juniors interested in running for Student Body Officer will have an information meeting March 14, with election week March 20-24. Class officers will follow the week after. Women Who Succeed Mentorship Program allows female students from 7th – 12th grades to be paired with a female mentor who have experience in the fields or industries they are interested in. It’s a great opportunity for networking, internships, and scholarships! Junior Mentee participants (7th-10th grade students) will participate in a group-mentoring via workshops, events, and supplemental materials. Mentee participants (11th-12th grade) will have the opportunity to network and receive personal mentorship from female leaders in Utah. Our Women Who Succeed membership comprises CEOs, executives, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, filmmakers, artists, doctors, and community champions! Brighton is recruiting young women for the 2023-24 school year through April 1st. Please encourage your students to APPLY at our website: https://www.womenwhosucceed.org/mentor-program/ .

Attention Seniors- Merit Cord Award Applications are open now! Apply online at https://bhs.canyonsdistrict.org/counseling/academic/merit-cord-awards/. Applications are due March 31 at 3:00 p.m. The purpose of the Merit Cord program is to encourage and challenge students as well as reward them for their many accomplishments while attending Brighton High School. Students must apply for each award separately.

Spring Break will be April 3-7. Enjoy your time off!

Parent – Teacher Conferences will be April 20. Please mark your calendars. The day after PTC will be a no-school day.
