Announcements:

  • Monday December 12th Brighton will host the Annual Silent Auction and Student vs Faculty Basketball game! The auction will open at 6:00 p.m. and close at 8:30 p.m.,  the baskets will include amazing items from theater tickets to overnight stays and much more!   • Would you love to be a part of the Brighton High Staff? Our cafeteria is hiring three cashier positions! One position is 5 ½ hours per day, M-F and pays $16.56 per hour. The other two positions are two hours per day,  M-F and pay $14.06 hour. Working in the cafeteria is a fun way to be involved at Brighton and meet new people!
  • Brighton is also hiring two hall monitors. It is a great opportunity to get to know the wonderful students, faculty and staff. The position receives benefits and pays $16.56 per hour.
  • As a reminder, deliveries  from Doordash/Grubhub/Etc are not accepted by the Office. Students will need to meet the delivery person outside of the office.
  • The counseling center will be losing their long term sub, Suzanne Oakeson, on Dec. 5th. We will not be hiring a new sub. Her alphabet, GRE-KH, will be going to Jenna Miller. Please contact Jenna Miller after Dec. 5th, if your student’s last name falls between the letters GRE-KH.
  • HOSA is hosting a Blood Drive on Friday, December 2nd from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Students must be at least 16 years old and need a permission slip. Community members are welcome to donate, as well. See the attached QR code for an appointment time.
  • CTEC Open House will be held on Thursday, January 5th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the CTEC. The Registration opens Friday, January 6th at 7:00 a.m. for the 2023-2024 school year.
  • There will be no school for students  December 19 – January 2 for Winter Break.
  • BENGAL BULLETIN will be sent to homes on Monday afternoons. If you would like to submit anything to be published in the Bengal Bulletin, please send it to jodi.roberts@canyonsdistrict.org by Monday, 10:00 a.m.
  • Please support the PTSA by becoming a member!   • The Math Department is holding math lab on Tuesdays in Michelle O’Reilly’s room #2414 and on Thursdays in Troy Clarke’s room #2410 from 2:30pm – 3:30pm.
  • Career Exploration Opportunities!
