Announcements:

  • A.P. testing begins the week of May 1. Good luck to all of our students testing!
  • Seniors and parents/guardians of seniors, Jostens will be here handing out caps and gowns on May 2nd, during lunch, in the auditorium. You must be completely cleared in order to pick up your cap and gown. This means: all credits complete and posted, passing current classes needed for graduation, all fees paid, Civics test complete, you have taken all the senior exit surveys in your CSD Docs email and you have printed out and signed the Graduation Protocol. *You must bring the signed protocol with you when you pick up your cap and gown. If you are not cleared on May 2nd, your cap and gown will be safely stored in the counseling center. You may pick it up once you are all cleared of those things listed above. Please mark your calendars:
  • Senior Chromebooks are due May 19th
  • Graduation will be at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 25th. Services will be held at the Maverick Center.
  • Last day of school is Friday, May 26. Students will be dismissed at 11:00 a.m. Lunch will not be served.
  • Family Learning Centers ESL Class Info:
    • Classes are free at all of our Title I schools – see below.
    • All of the schools hold daytime classes, with the exception of East Midvale, who has an evening class on Tues/Thurs.
    • We teach both Levels 1 & 2 in all classes, with the exception of the daytime class at East Midvale – only Level 1 is covered.
    • We are looking at offering a Summer class………more info to come once the location and dates are set on this.
    • If the family has any specific questions regarding the classes being held at these locations, they are welcome to reach out directly to the instructors – their numbers are listed below.
    Entrada also offers Adult ESL classes, however classes are full at this time thru the end of summer.  The next scheduled class will begin in September.
    • There is a tuition fee, but if any families are in need of assistance they can either discuss this with the school, or you can reach out to our department and we can see what we can do to assist.
    • Levels 1 thru 5 are offered – each student is tested prior to being placed in class.
    • Both AM and PM classes are offered.
    • In-person registration is required in advance.  This can be done starting in August, Mon-Thurs from 12:00pm-6:00pm at Entrada.
