ASPIRE Testing will be held for all 9th and 10th grade students on Tuesday, April 1st.
11th and 12th grade students DO NOT come to school on this day.
The ASPIRE Test has several benefits to Brighton students:
- It helps students gauge their readiness for the ACT and identifies areas for improvement.
- Each student receives a score report that predicts their ACT score in various categories, aiding in understanding their progress towards college readiness.
- Student participation assists us in evaluating whether our school is meeting state benchmarks, allowing us to enhance and refine our academic programs.
We will be on a special bell schedule that day for testing. 11th and 12th grade students will not attend during ASPIRE Testing. Any student who needs extra support from teachers may come from 12:48 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. during our consultation time.
Should you wish for your child to opt-out of this assessment, please note that opt-out forms must be completed in person at the Brighton Main Office. Unfortunately, we are unable to process opt-out requests over the phone or via email. Forms must be submitted 24 hours prior to the commencement of testing to facilitate our testing organization and planning.
